Your First Visit
Your first appointment runs 60 minutes. That time covers talking through your concerns and an assessment before treatment begins — Anthony may read your pulse and examine your tongue as part of it. Pulse reading is included at no extra charge on a first visit.
Arrive About 15 Minutes Early
This gives you time to complete the client information form without rushing. You can also fill it in beforehand and bring it with you.
First-Visit Fee
A one-time fee of $15 is added to your first visit to open your file.
Client Information Form
Download, print and complete this before your visit if you’d like to save time. Please bring the printed form with you — don’t email it, as it asks for health information we don’t collect online.

- Your insurance card or plan details, if you have coverage
- A list of any medications you take
- Your claim number, for a motor vehicle accident or WCB claim
- Your completed client information form, if you filled it in at home
Cancellation Policy
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, are subject to a $50 fee.

What happens on a first visit?

How early should I arrive?
About 15 minutes before your first appointment, so you can complete the client information form without rushing. You can also download it, fill it in at home and bring it with you.
Do I need a referral?
No — you can book without a referral. Some insurance plans ask for one before they’ll reimburse, so it’s worth checking your own plan.
Do you direct-bill my insurance?
We direct-bill most major insurers, and we bill WCB Alberta directly. Motor vehicle accident claims work differently — you pay at the time of your visit and submit the receipt to your own insurer, and we’ll give you what you need for the claim.
