Anthony Yong RAC, RM, HMD.
Is a gifted natural healer in which can be traced back to his early childhood, he was born,1962, in Brunei, the world 3rd largest Island in South East Asia, grew up in a small village; embraced with the nature of the tropical forest. With influences from both parents, he picked up his Dad's nursing skills when he was only 5 years old, he borrowed his Dad's clinical first aid medication to treat the wounds of his brothers, sisters and friends. He was also amazed by the natural way of treating sickness & diseases by the knowledgeable, experienced elders in the village. It was then that he had taken interest in the natural
herbs and had continually accumulated knowledge and ways of using them.
He completed animal Veterinary Science in National Science University of Ping Tung, Taiwan, in 1988, while continuing the pursuit of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1989. He started with Foot Reflexology and learned the difference between traditional and modern medicine. He then further studied and practiced acupuncture, massage, herbal and cupping techniques from Prof. Andrew Tiong in Kuching, Sarawak. Anthony was also actively involved in the Sarawak Traditional Chinese Medicine Association in Kuching, Sarawak where he contributed a lot of charitable works, treating and prescribing natural herbs during the association’s activities and events. He traveled and learned from countries such as: Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, British Columbia, Canada, and finally settled in Edmonton in 2006.
Continually enhancing his educations, Anthony had also completed 2200hrs of Massage Therapy course with Archways Healing College in Edmonton, and has been a member in NHPC since 2008. He has also met the requirements of Alberta Health and Wellness and passed as a registered Acupuncturist. He is a member and is still actively involved in the charitable events organised by the Alberta Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner’s Association.
Joseph Yong
Is Foot Reflexologist for more than over 20 years. He graduated from the Rwo-Shr Health Institute International in Taipei, R.O.C.
He uses his hands on foot massage to remove toxins, residues and improve blood circulation towards better health. He also uses the Biofeedback device to help clients to detect, reduce and balance stress levels. He is trained with 1100 hours of massage course at the Archways Healing College, Edmonton, AB.
